Summary Job Description: Registered Nurse - Operating Room Full-Time 6:45a - 5:15p / 4 - 10 Hour Shifts Per Week Call and Weekend Rotation Required The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. - Reviews and documents care provided, outcomes of care, and evaluations of care. - Follows the professional standards of care. - Demonstrates ability to prioritize care based on changing assessment and needs of patients. - Having ongoing communication with physicians and other departments in the hospital. Requirements: - Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution. - Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required. - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire. - Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire. - Must obtain Crisis Prevention within 6 months of hire. Preferred Qualifications: - Recent experience in specialty preferred. - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
