Summary Job Description: Registered Nurse - Short Stay Unit Full-Time 7p - 7a The Registered Nurse has the responsibility and accountability for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. Requirements: - Associate of Science in Nursing (ADN) degree from an accredited institution. - Current unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kentucky required. - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire. - Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire. - National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) required within 6 months of hire. - Mandatory nonviolent crisis prevention training to be completed prior to end of orientation period and maintained annually. Preferred Qualifications: - Recent experience in specialty preferred. - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution.
