PRN Nurse Extern / PRN Nursing Assistant

PRN; Shift Varies The Nurse Extern performs designated tasks in the provision of age-appropriate care for patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Requirements: - Must be a junior or senior level student currently enrolled in an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing or BSN program, or higher. - Recommendation of instructors and verification of competencies required. - Current GPA 2.5 or higher. - Must have positive attitude, good organizational, customer service and critical thinking skills. The Nursing Assistant performs designated tasks in the provision of age-appropriate care for patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent (GED). - Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications: - Certified Nursing License (CNA) preferred. - Six months experience in a hospital or long-term care facility preferred.
