Start your Voyage – Apply Now Get to Know the Opportunity: This position is part of Voya Investment Management (Voya IM) and our Summer Student Program, offering students the opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the investment management industry while working alongside professionals across the Voya IM organization. Curious about what it’s like to work in marketing at an investment management firm? As a Marketing Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting advisor-facing marketing campaigns for Voya Investment Management. From content and campaigns to events, product launches, and special projects, you’ll see how ideas move from concept to execution while gaining exposure to many different areas of marketing. While your home base will be Marketing, your experience won’t be limited to it. You’ll also participate in informational sessions, networking events, and volunteer opportunities that provide a broader look at the asset management business and opportunities to connect with peers across the organization. This role is based in New York office, with expected onsite presence on average 3 days per week to support team and business priorities. The Contributions You’ll Make: - Support marketing campaigns, emails, webinars, presentations, and advisor communications. - Research industry trends, investment products, competitors, and marketing best practices. - Assist with conferences, events, product launches, and special projects. - Help coordinate projects and keep deliverables moving across multiple teams. - Learn how content, campaigns, and product marketing work together to support business goals. - Contribute across a variety of marketing activities while gaining broad exposure to the team and business. Minimum Knowledge & Experience: - High School Diploma or GED required. - Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. - Demonstrated capabilities using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Organized and able to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail. - Comfortable asking questions, taking initiative, and learning in unfamiliar situations. Preferred Knowledge & Experience: - Curious, resourceful, and eager to learn. - Collaborative, dependable, and willing to contribute wherever needed. - Interest in marketing, investing, financial services, or how businesses connect with customers. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
