Based in Detroit, Henry Ford is one of the nation's most respected academic medical centers and is leading the Future of Health: Detroit, a $3 billion investment anchored by a reimagined Henry Ford academic healthcare campus. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** Under the supervision of senior research staff, the Research Student will be responsible for the following: - Conduct assigned research tasks and experiments in accordance with established laboratory protocols and scientific standards - Operate and maintain state-of-the-art scientific equipment and instrumentation with precision and adherence to safety guidelines - Collect, analyze, and document research data with accuracy and attention to detail - Prepare comprehensive research reports and presentations for review by supervising researchers - Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks and ensure proper documentation of all experimental procedures and results - Collaborate effectively with research team members and communicate findings clearly through written and oral presentations - Adhere to all institutional policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements governing biomedical research - Contribute to the advancement of knowledge in Individual and Genomic Medicine through rigorous scientific inquiry **EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:** - Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program - Demonstrated commitment to rigorous scientific inquiry and exceptional organizational capabilities - Demonstrated proficiency in operating complex laboratory equipment with precision and safety awareness - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) What We Offer At Henry Ford Health, you'll have the opportunity to grow your career through collaborative projects, access to leading resources, and a commitment to mission-driven work.
