Founding Software Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE Join an early engineering team building AI-powered software for enterprise procurement and supply chains. You will help develop systems that interpret supplier agreements, purchasing data, and invoices to identify discrepancies and protect customer margins. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Build and ship full-stack product features from concept through production. - Develop systems that reconcile negotiated supplier terms with actual enterprise spending across large, messy datasets. - Help shape product direction and make core technical decisions as an early member of the team. - Work directly with enterprise customers to understand their challenges and deliver practical solutions. - Contribute to AI and LLM systems that support purchasing optimization and invoice validation. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Two to eight years of full-stack or backend software engineering experience, with a record of shipping end-to-end products. - Strong product engineering skills and experience building B2B software; enterprise customer experience is a plus. - Proficiency with modern full-stack development. The role involves Python, TypeScript, and React. - Experience with LLM systems, evaluation methods, or related frameworks is valuable. - Comfort working in an early-stage environment, making decisions with limited process, and building from the ground up. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Base salary: $200,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available. LOCATION On-site in San Francisco, California, United States.
